Schoolhouse is a Portland-based lighting and lifestyle goods company, with its factory and showroom situated in a historic brick factory building in Northwest Portland, Oregon. Schoolhouse aimed to create a new customer experience centred around service, discovery (as visitors navigate through the showroom) and inspiration . This update was in line with their service offerings, including in-store styling and design consultations. A key focus of the renovation was on merchandising, ensuring to highlight and showcase the full range of product offerings from the brand. The result was thoughtful updates space planning, enhancing customer flow and sight lines, along with clearly defined product category zones within the space.
